WinCalendar - Place a calendar on your dekstop
This may be the shortest review in history. If you have ever found yourself not knowing what the day or date is, then this is a tool you'll find useful. Now, hang on to your seat because this will blow your mind: it's a calendar.
The installation kit is 5 Mb large and the installation process is fast. You won't even see what the progress bar will look like.
The only interface to this program is the calendar itself and a customization menu. You can keep your calendar on your desktop or in your system tray. Just make sure not to peek at the date next to the tray when you bring up the calendar. It will spoil the surprise.
On a more serious note, you can set an appointment on a date chosen by you by right clicking the date and hitting "add note" option. You can jump directly to any date within reason and you also have quite a number of customization options.
Pros:
It's a great tool for knowing the exact date.
Cons:
For a stand alone program, it could use some extra features.
You can always keep your own custom calendar handy on your desktop with WinCalendar.
